Company History, Aries Services

Aries Services was founded in 1999 by Denny Underwood, a HGV owner/driver. Denny recognised a gap in the market and his fledgling company was soon supplying HGV drivers to the haulage industry.

Aries Services has always been based near Kings Lynn in Norfolk. Although they have expanded to include the supply of security and surveillance services as well as plant operatives and logistic services to the construction industry throughout the UK, an area of expertise in which Denny was also well acquainted, being a former plant operator himself.

It is this hands-on experience which gives Aries Services the edge in its field - Denny and his team possess a deep understanding of the needs of the industry in which they operate.

Construction is a complex, dynamic industry involving many different trades and considerable logistical issues. It is this field, site logistics and management, that Aries Services has expanded into and developed. By supplying highly trained and motivated personnel with the ability to conduct security, surveillance, traffic and waste management and cleaning tasks they are able to take care of the day-to-day security and maintenance procedures on a busy site, allowing the host company to attend to its core business – construction. With a permanent workforce of more than 50 qualified and licenced security staff, as well as trained dogs with handlers, together with a host of other skilled labour and cleaning personnel, Aries Services are able to offer a complete package, namely ‘A Comprehensive Construction Site Support Service’.
